Very minimal

It'd be nice if there were a few other layers. Maybe an extra synth. It's a good start, though. BTW, what synth do you use for your main there? Because I can't seem to quite get it with anything.

TuRdz responds:

Yeah, I just threw this together in a few hours. I don't really plan to do anything else with it... :|

I think he might mean the bass synth

if so, I have to agree with the guy below me. It's ok in the beginning, reminds me of metroid. But once its just with the sort of minimal beat, its quite awkward. This song is interesting, just not very well made in my opinion...

Psil0 responds:

Well... if your opinion includes further explanation, I'd love to hear it. It doesn't really help me with vague and otherwise weak opinions/reviews such as this.

Rightfully in the top 30

Unlike a lot of the stuff that's been up there lately. Nice job here.

Higgins667 responds:

Thank you sire.

Dont know why the score is so low.

This is some really quality stuff you have here.

Dimoria responds:

People hate me :)

Fuck Busta Rhymes

The beat is really simple, but your vocals are nice. And you're able to be understood.

Still a subgenre of Dubstep

So it shall be looked at as dubstep (also, sounds like just a dirty bass dubstep, like a rawrstep with wobble). Repetitive, the rawr is very simple, and the wobble rhythm never changes until the end. It is simple at its heart. It's decent I suppose, but much work needs to be done. At least we all get experience from making stuff like this.

You are what

Many dubstep artists should strive for. Something truly fresh sounding. If Skrillex heard this, HE'd probably get turned on and contact you for a collab. I can't make ANYTHING like this. This kind of dubstep is beyond me.

TheBiocide responds:

Hahaha! Wellll, I'm not sure about all that, but I immensely appreciate you saying it! I love it when people enjoy my tunes like you do. It's one of the many reasons I make the stuff :)
Thanks again for that review, man! Really liked that one :D

Liking it :)

Haven't checked up on you in a while. This is some good stuff. Sounds very chiptune. You should check out the VL Tone Emulator vst for FL. It gets you the same kind of sounds. It'll help with the 8-bit stuff.

This is great

Its really hard to find good hip-hop nowadays. Bravo sir. The vox quality isn't that bad, and the lyrics are excellent. Love the beat.

eeeh....

It's certainly interesting, but FAR too repetitive. Its a better song than Marmite by Caspa, which this seems to fall in the same genre as. Almost zero variation here though (albeit it changes for the better toward the last minute and 12 seconds). You use the same stuff throughout the entirety of this piece. Not good as a standalone piece to me, but possibly would work in a game.

KyvoX responds:

Thanks for you review, I too find the second part too long, but i'll fix it in the final version i'm working on.
