Jeebus crust. I'd say it's decent. If it's for a game, I understand, but it is quite repeptitive... I voted 3/5, 7/10. 3 might have been a bit harsh. sorry... but you can get it back up once you're back on :3

GroundNova responds:

thank you for your review Soulblud.

Is it a vst at all?

The only true chip thing that i have is the VL-Tone Emulator (emulates the chip sounds of the Casio VL1 calculator)... I require more.

Though, this is just a test. But you put it in the audio portal, so I'm going to rate it as a song.

Don't take it personally.

Y2k4never responds:

No VST's i made this in Famitracker, meaning it could be played on a Famicom "Japanese Nintendo" because it has expansion pins, so Konami made the Vrc6 chip to give the Japanese Nintendo 2 more square channels and a sawtooth channel, so i made a tech demo of different sounds it can make, i was going for the type of synth the C64's SID chip makes.

Im still learning as well

The drop is good, and i can't make anything like it. Idk why. But yes. The drums are underwhelming. Other than that, good job here.

DustDevil responds:

Thanx man :D Im glad you liked it ^^

WIP with much left to do

though nothing specifically comes off the top of my head. The drop needs work though. Also, the main synth needs work. And do i hear the Claw and Seismik vsts?
On the right track here for the most part.

EnvythisRoadRunner responds:

Nope, no special VSTs here xD and yea, my drop is more limp than a whore after 3days of gangbanging. Definately needs work...its hard trying to find out how to achieve that...i'll probably find something...thanks for the review :)

its nice

but I've never even heard of Sonic Triple Trouble. What system was TT on?

This piece is very well made.

DesoloZ responds:

Sega Game Gear

Pendulum

Obvious inspiration, right? I love that gourp for the most part. And this is a lot like them. Not enough of this area of DnB here on Newgrounds. Bravo.

NutronicUK responds:

No doubt, we love Pendulum :D
Thanks

Very minimal

It'd be nice if there were a few other layers. Maybe an extra synth. It's a good start, though. BTW, what synth do you use for your main there? Because I can't seem to quite get it with anything.

TuRdz responds:

Yeah, I just threw this together in a few hours. I don't really plan to do anything else with it... :|

I think he might mean the bass synth

if so, I have to agree with the guy below me. It's ok in the beginning, reminds me of metroid. But once its just with the sort of minimal beat, its quite awkward. This song is interesting, just not very well made in my opinion...

Psil0 responds:

Well... if your opinion includes further explanation, I'd love to hear it. It doesn't really help me with vague and otherwise weak opinions/reviews such as this.

Rightfully in the top 30

Unlike a lot of the stuff that's been up there lately. Nice job here.

Higgins667 responds:

Thank you sire.

Dont know why the score is so low.

This is some really quality stuff you have here.

Dimoria responds:

People hate me :)
