I'm practically drooling... Metroid is my favorite series of all time (second probably goes to Elder Scrolls).

This piece is rather amazing, I must say. Faved, downloaded, 5/5 in both respects.

Omni-Psyence responds:

Good choice in favorites man. I'm currently on a several month-long Skyrim binge, myself. I'm in the middle of an Elder Scrolls remix actually... ;) Thanks for the review and download!

Reminds me a great deal of Ronald Jenkees, if you've heard of him (check out his song Super-Fun or more like this song, Stay Crunchy. All on youtube.)

I really enjoy this piece. At first I was thinking it'd be a remix of the theme song for the anime Speed Grapher (great miniseries), which is called Shutter Speed.

CowardlyLion responds:

Aye, Ronald Jenkees is great! Definitely feels good to be compared to him haha. I've never heard of that, I'll have to check it out sometime. Thanks for listening!

Robotic Performance Poetry

Nice going on opening up a new subgenre of a subgenre.

Interesting, and trippy, but not all that great. Nonetheless I faved.

I think I did simply because of the originality.

Adam-Beilgard responds:

Sub-genre of a sub-genre, eh? Did I Incept you with my music? Glad you liked the concept, thanks for the review!

Halfway there-- will jizz upon hearing full

This is by far one of your best, if it is not already.

The drop is rather amazing.

Quick question though... What do you use for your choirs? It's hard to find a good one.

Acid-Paradox responds:

Hey man , good to see familiar names on NG.

Thanks for the review.

The choir were taken from Spectratonics Omnisphere, the choir presets are amazing.

Cheers!

I do kinda like it...

But it is simply too mashed together. Serious mastering work is needed here. The bass is overpowering, and the combination of all those sytrus synths and those drums (especially reverb kicks) just make it grainy due to the clutter of it all.

There is a quite a bit of potential in this one. Work on it a bit more; you're off to a good start.

TheDesuLord responds:

Yeah i rushed it to get it out there, I just finished the Mastering. It sounds better.
Also I mixed in RE-VERB with the MOON RUMBLE sound effect.
This time it isn't as Grainy, Also It includes some Buildup KICKS/EFFECTS.

Just listened to one of your 2005 tracks

Your style hasn't changed much, but your skill has. Nice job here.

XMalick responds:

hahaha i'm writing this comment after reading your review on REEVERB, my first post on newgrounds back in 2005.

wow soulblud... it really means a lot to me that you listened and made a note of that change.

i'm glad that i could stay true to my style... but the growth that i've made is apparent. it wasn't really consciously my intention, but i'm glad i could be myself still after 6 years.

I feel a bit more Castlevania when I hear this

I only wish the drums were louder, and the song was longer.

XMalick responds:

hahaha thanks! i'm actually honored you even took the time to listen! lol this is from literally 7 years ago... haha i made this song when i was...wow...13?

good god.

Sounds more electro-housey to me.

Nonetheless a well made piece, while not particularly my style.

FlightPattern responds:

Yeah I'm starting to enjoy electro house lately

I only wish I could make it like this

You, sir, have a lot of talent. It would take me forever to learn how to make it like this. I've made all kinds of electronic music, but this is out of my league. Bravo.

ToliveAnimations responds:

Thanks very much for the kind words

Much less dubstep in my opinion

Feels more like it belongs in Techno.

For 3 months along, though, your progressing nicely.

Keep up the good work.

AustinHayes responds:

Wow, I'm surprised you've been keeping up with me!! hahaha you should hear my most recent stuff, it makes me laugh when i listen to these songs xD
