Reminds me a bit of Sonic

is that strange? I really dig it. Very nice mixing here. the melody is well made as well. Very good job well done here ;)

ravenline responds:

I can kinda see why you think that :) Thanks!

Good lord.

3 Zelda OoT subs iin the top on video games on 1 day. That is rather interesting.

I have the Ending theme, someone else has Saria's Song, and you have this.

Hmmmm...

I really enjoy this piece. I also think it could work somewhere along the lines of a spacey puzzle game or Metroid. Great piece. Well made.

MrMusicalLion responds:

Hey thanks, that's a good point, I hope people who intend to make games like that, will use this track ^_^ Glad you liked it. :)

It doesn't blend as well as it could

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the mixing of everything here. it sounds good to a certain extent, but it's underwhelming overall, and at the end where the bass gets more intense, it just starts to kinda fall apart to me. Too much, it overpowers the others a bit.

TheSandyman responds:

You're completely right, mate. I'm still learning about mixing, especially with midibeats. I have some experience mixing analog instruments, but I'm kinda new to the whole electronic bussiness. If I get the chance, I'll do the mixing again.
Thanks for the review, man.

While cliche, the drop is intense

So that seems to me the saving grace. I also like the percussion. I do like it, but perhaps try aiming to be a little more fresh... that's the best way i can put it. I also make every kind of thecno, and i know how hard it is to try to sound different, especially in dubstep. I try though.

ET16 responds:

Well this is my second dubstep song so Im still trying to get a feel for this new genre...

Never could use the Trancechorder decently...

You managed to successfully use it. I recognize the silver/platinum saw, trancechorder, and is that a fat saw?

ravenline responds:

Wow, you can recognize your sounds pretty damn well, haha. There's the silver saw, trancechorder, and the other sound in the beginning is "Nasty".

i like it

It reminds me a lot of the music that was in Art Style: Light Trax (wiiware game). Although, I do believe this belongs in House rather than Techno... good job though.

YakovlevArt responds:

Haha (I had to look it up)
Yeah i can see what you mean by that.
That game actually looks pretty sick, i'd play it...Reminds me of Audio Surf a little bit =]

I think it does belong to House too, but the synths make it sounds a little bit like a techno song. I always change the genre in my tracks around because the track on it's own is sometimes a combination of a few genres, or has elements from other genres in it =/

Thanks for the 8 and review, though =]

good foundation

The melody and all that works together well, but it's lacking a good bass.

Ahhh, more sytrus.

Interesting application of it, though. I strongly recommend finding some more vst's however. Claw and Delta III, as well as the Itchy pack would probably serve you well.

Bomberman is amazing.

I love that game. While I recognize the arp and all that, I love the inspiration and sound.
