I'm not the only one thinking it sounds a lot like

Megadeth, right?

Except when the screaming of fuck you comes in.
I hear a cross of Lamb of God (music), and Megadeth, definitely.

All in all, I'm liking it. Normally I stay out of the rock sections on Newgrounds, but now I think I might come more often.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks a lot! Comparisons like those, make me feel pretty fucking good. haha.

Keep coming around, man. Lots of wicked artists in the genre!

The voice makes me happy

As well as the pads, cuz they remind me of the Theme of e-102 Y in Sonic Adventure. Good memories.

Pretty good song btw. Oh, and it reminds me a little of Art Style: Light Trax :3

YakovlevArt responds:

Aww your review makes me happy because i fuckin' LOVE sonic!
Also you referenced Light Trax in another review of my tracks, haha.

But I'm glad it makes you feel good.

Certainly an uplifting scale

not very common in dubstep, is it? I rather like this. It's only a little repetitive, but it is pretty good.

Congrats on the time, btw. It usually takes me only an hour or 2 for my best tracks.

Interesting

I love the intro.
The drop needs some work, and is quite repetitive.
I loved your interesting use of OoT sounds :)
Aside from the bass, pretty original.

All in all, decent.

CowardlyLion responds:

Thank you very much!

Not classical at all

I'd put under ambient or more likely new wave. It's certainly mellowed out and pretty good in composition, but it's not quite my taste. Who knows; maybe it'll grow on me.

But definitely not a classical song. Also, FL Studio default drums don't particularly fit this piece that well (at least not the hats).

You submitted it yesterday

And it isn't on the front page of dubtep here? something doesn't seem right. (You're pretty good, but it's quite surprising your fans haven't gotten you up there yet).

However, it doesn't seem like your best. It's definitely more of what we expect from you, but it just doesn't have the same... "feeling" as most of your works. It's hard to explain.

Really nice first

Sounds more specifically like glitch-step. It actually almost reminds me of Aphex Twin. This is a great start. You're on the right track.

Pretty good.

This is the second time I've heard of the Magic 8-bit plugin. For most of my chips, I use VL1, a casio calculator emulator.

Is the plugin free?

Anyway, pretty good song. I found the bass line's rhythm a little awkward, but the composition of the song itself is pretty good.

Deepshade responds:

Yes it is! , can be found and downloaded @

VL1 ? sounds interesting, i'll have to look into that !
mostly i write on an actual gameboy using LSDJ , and yes, the bassline is a bit off at certain points, i was just making some drum sounds with the synth, and then it evolved into a song ! its amazing what you can do with just basic waveforms ^^

Eh.

It seems a lot of work is needed.

Idk just how new you are, but you need to get some better vsts. Message me if you want some decent links as well as some better percussion than those defaults.

Speaking of percussion, the hats are too loud and don't seem to blend too well with the rest of the song, and the kicks (when not amid the drop) seem slightly underpowered.

Also, turn down that "DJ Drop" thing.

mayaismybitch responds:

Yea, im pretty new, hey thanks for the tips, I'll put all that into consideration on my next song! Some better vsts would be awesome, thanks!
