Lol

You keep using the same beat. Try something new. Your songs sound like they are telling an intensifying story with each submission. It's pretty good, but try some more variation.

AustinHayes responds:

Can do! thanks for the advice, i'll be sure to make something completely new next time!

Better than my first dubstep

My first attempt was Ragga-step (no drops or anything, just some nice vocals, beat and wobble). This is a great start. I see some good stuff ahead of you.

AustinHayes responds:

thanks man, i really appreciate the support! =)

Its good...

But I'm feeling more of the former part of the title as opposed to the latter. I think it belongs more in ambient than trance.

Also, I agree with atlanteankitsune. I can imagine that a little, or more of suspenseful discovery or series thereof.

Well, composed, but it really doesn't seem very trance-y to me.

JakobePaulobe responds:

Thanks man, I agree. This does belong in the ambient category and I'm going to move it there. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Meh

It's good bass but where the hell's the rest of the music?

tp-boy responds:

Haha, I admit this is pretty basic, but it was the first time I'd ever opened Garageband on my mac and this was more of a learning experience than anything else.
I'll try harder next time for you :P

It's decent

I can honestly I didn't like the progression of the bass at first. It's not at all what i expected.

icecoldfatties responds:

expect deez nuts

IT DOESN'T HAVE A GOD DAMN PROPER ENDING!

^^^just to spite you^^^

I like it. I can definitely hear how this would be for a videogame. Like some epic battle in a JRPG more than anything, really.

Good job.

poptarts47 responds:

lol haha thanks for taking the time to review it!! :)

I must say

I dislike a lot of what house is these days, but I like this. Personally I think house is just too repetitive and squelchy nowadays.

OxKingMusic responds:

Not sure what squelchy means but thanks for the review.

Well

It does remind me a lot of al-Khirad... (lol geek alert). But just as an extra note, Runescape has improved quite a bit. I just recently got back into it. I was incredibly surprised at how much it changed.

The composition is decent here... Though I can honestly say I don't know how this made it to number 2 on the best tracks this week.... (no offense)

JakesFable responds:

Yeah I'm not quite sure why either I got plenty of other better ones then this, But thanks for the review man!

Sounds far more industrial than dubstep

Except for a few times when the beat goes more dubby, and less *kick-snare-*.

It is also about as repetitive it gets. If you're going to make it this long, you have to vary things. Or else your just Skream or Caspa. And I care for neither.

demonrunner23 responds:

Thanks well said

Can't say I really like the sound of it

All together, but it does sound very mechanoid in nature, so good job on that.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:
